Dr. Sheila Hunt — "Dr. Dynamic" — is an educator, innovator, and AI change leader passionate about helping adult learners, leaders, and institutions rise with confidence in our AI Next Gen world. Her calling: equip and empower people to transform with courage, clarity, and capability.
At National University, Dr. Hunt serves as Associate Director of Faculty Support & Development and Co-Chair of the NU AI Council — leading full-scale AI implementation across governance, roadmaps, micro-learning, and culture change. In her classrooms, students learn to use AI as a strategic learning partner, not a ghostwriter, building durable skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, and ethical decision-making.
Her journey blends higher ed leadership with Fortune 500 experience — Hi-PO leadership development at Walmart Corporate and District HR Manager for a 10-store, $400M region at The Home Depot. She has presented at ACBSP National, earned Region 7's Best in Region award, and serves as Secretary-Elect for ACBSP Region 7.
Service is woven into everything she does. Dr. Hunt leads communication and change sessions for Walgreens ERGs and the City of San Diego, co-facilitates Business Program Advisory Councils, and partners with groups like the Military Spouse ERG. She is also a pastor and global teacher — her children's books Ask, Seek & Knock and 3 Please! carry life principles she teaches in Africa, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and across the U.S.
